Dr Ferran Brosa Planella is an Assistant Professor at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Warwick. His work focuses on derivation, reduction, and parameterisation of physics-based models for lithium-ion batteries. He is part of PyBaMM’s core team.

Manoj Ovhal
Research Associate
Dr Manoj Ovhal is a research fellow at Energy Materials Group, School of Metallurgy and Materials, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Birmingham, where he works with Prof. Emma Kendrick on battery parameterisation.

Monica Marinescu
Co-I, WP3 Leader
Dr Monica Marinescu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, where she leads work on physics-based Li-ion battery modelling, including understanding of coupled battery degradation, as well as on distributed thermally coupled equivalent circuit models for cell and pack design and control.

Gregory Offer
Co-I
Professor Gregory Offer is the PI of the MSM project. Professor of Electrochemical Engineering at Imperial College London his research spans the interface between the science of how batteries work and the engineering of how to design the best products around them.
